Applicability conclusion
NovaPharm is not presented as a quoted company and no verified company data currently show that it meets at least two applicable SECR large-company tests. Mandatory reporting has therefore not been established. Company size, group position, energy use and procurement requirements will be reviewed with the accounts process each year. A contract-specific Carbon Reduction Plan will be prepared only where the procurement rules for that opportunity require one.
Measurement in development
Operational emissions measurement is in development and a defensible baseline has not yet been established. The planned boundary will distinguish direct fuel and refrigerant emissions, purchased electricity and material value-chain categories. Any future target will remain provisional until the baseline, method, boundary and supporting data have been reviewed.
Priority sources and actions
Materiality assessment will consider contracted warehousing; temperature-controlled and international freight; purchased logistics; packaging; waste; business travel; digital infrastructure; supplier energy and manufacturing evidence; and responsible procurement. Early action focuses on collecting reliable activity data, avoiding unnecessary transport and waste, reviewing packaging, engaging suppliers and considering energy efficiency in provider selection.
Claims and governance
NovaPharm does not claim carbon neutrality, net zero, zero emissions, science-based targets, carbon-negative operations or verified reductions. Figures will be published only with the reporting period, organisational boundary, methodology, conversion factors, intensity measure, limitations and appropriate review. Evidence will be retained with the accounts or procurement record.
